MY STORY

MOA was not created overnight.

For more than 18 years, I worked in a global French–Turkish finance company in Istanbul. My career was structured, analytical, and international. But at the age of 40, I faced a serious health challenge and underwent one of the most complex surgeries.

That moment changed everything.

It made me question how I wanted to spend my time and what I truly wanted to create in this world.

After my recovery, I decided to follow something I had always felt connected to — symbols, art, meaning, and craftsmanship. I began learning jewellery making in Kapalıçarşı, Istanbul, working closely with a master artisan and experiencing the depth of generational skill and patience behind each piece.

Coming from a family background that values culture, resilience, and hard work, and combining it with my design education and business experience, MOA slowly took shape.

MOA is where my past and present meet —
finance and creativity, structure and intuition, heritage and modern design.

It is my way of honoring ancient symbols while keeping traditional craftsmanship alive, and creating jewellery that carries meaning beyond decoration.
