Southeastern Anatolia is very important in terms of its richness of archaeological remains.
Detailed archeological studies proved that the Kortik Tepe had been inhabited from 10.400-9.250 BC without interruption which indicates that the site is one of the oldest settlements in Anatolia to be known so far. With its values the site has an important place in the history of Anatolia and also for the history of universal civilization.
The region being irrigated by the Tigris and Euphrates rivers are the origin of modern civilization dating 12.000 years ago in Southeastern Anatolia. In other words, it is the region of revolutions for the Mediterranean world and Europe.
In Kortik Tepe it has been found special stone plaques completely dedicated to the dead and these had a purpose such as for serving for the dead ritual. Figures like this never detected at any stage of the contemporary sites in the Near East.
At the head curling extensions are taught to be antenna and evaluating the body there are wings at the body, at this point it can be said that these figures might be bee like insects.
Always having the same depictions supports the hypothesis that these are related with the dead cult and are done as grave gifts.

Slow Design
The simplest definition of slow design is materials done thoughtfully, responsibly, and sustainably.
Slowness, in this sense, refers not to how long it takes to create something but rather to how designs are carefully thought out, materials are consciously crafted, and items are appreciated for years to come.
